1. Sangku’s paper entitled ““Probing Nanoscale Conductance of Monolayer Graphene under Pressure” was accepted in Applied Physics Letter. Congratulation!

 

2. Chan Ho and Kamran finished defense successfully. Sunmi and Sangku passed the Ph. D. qualifying examinations. Congratulations to all!

 

3. The paper that is based on collaboration with Prof. Bae Ho Park and Prof. Miquel Salmeron has been accepted in Science. It was published at Science Express on 30 June 2011. Congratulations to SCALE lab!

 

4. Sunmi and Sangku joined Berkeley Lab for two and half months to carry out the exchange research program. Sunmi joined Prof. Somorjai group at UC Berkeley and she is carrying out nanoparticle synthesis and nanocatalysis. Sangku joined Prof. Salmeron group at LBL, and he is working on UHV STM on graphene on Ru single crystal surface. Good luck to both.
