This figure illustrates the concept of hot electron-driven chemical reactions on metal-semiconductor hybrid nanocatalysts. The flow of hot electrons formed on Pt–CdSe–Pt nanodumbbells under light irradiation significantly impactσ the catalytic activity of CO oxidation. For more information, refer to Chem.
